Travis Scott confirmed as first headliner for Open’er Festival 2019

A few months of waiting and we are in this story again! The first announced artists for the next 39 days of “next year’s Open’er is TRAVIS SCOTT, THE 1975 and GRETA VAN FLEET

The first headliner was given to TRAVIS SCOTT.  His third album titled “ASTROWORLD” is the most interesting rap record of this year, excelling in ideas and quality productions of other stage giants who have returned with new material this year. The “ASTROWORLD” range surpasses even a Drake two-CD work. Among the guests are the aforementioned Drizzy, and Stevie Wonder, who plays the harmonica, singing The Weeknd, James Blake and Frank Ocean, and finally Tame Impala, hitherto unlikely to be associated with hip-hop productions. The author of the cover photo was the celebrated photographer celebrity David LaChapelle and the video for the single “Stop Trying to Be God” was directed by Dave Meyers, who is a real icon in this field. “ASTROWORLD” is a musical value, and after a few months since the album’s release the situation is clear – Travis recorded an excellent album.

Travis in the rankings of the best albums may pass the yet unreleased album of THE 1975. The album, although it is still waiting for the premiere, is already collecting phenomenal reviews from those journalists who had the opportunity to listen to it. “A Brief Inquiry to Online Relationships”, the third British album is today one of the most anticipated premieres from the border of pop, indie rock, electronics or in short – just good songs that Matthew Healy can write like no one else in his generation. Apparently, the next album will be released in the spring of 2019, which means even more material before their concert at Open’er.

The first announcement is closed by debutants GRETA VAN FLEET, from the tiny settlement Frankenmuth, Michigan known for family dinners and the world’s largest Christmas store. For a good few months, the four of them may have felt that Christmas is continuing, because without a doubt GRETA VAN FLEET now has a moment! Josh, Jake, Sam and Danny were brought up on the extensive vinyl collections of their parents. And they helped them create a mix that will delight audiences around the world: a hybrid of rock’n’roll, blues and soul. In October they released their debut album “Anthem of the Peaceful Army”.  GRETA VAN FLEET’s message has been known since the 1960s, the period from which Greta Van Fleet has probably been teleported – “peace, love and unity”, and their common goal is to make people leaving their concerts feel animated, excited and happy, and transferred their feelings to others.

This is how it will be in Gdynia in July!
